Target Goal Stress Buster Formula

So you have a target goal you want to reach, however, you procrastinate because you get anxious, stressed out, and overwhelmed just thinking about it. Well, you’re in luck! I have a simple 3 step plan for you.

That is fantastic that you have figured out your target goal. For some people, their target goal can be pretty big. It might be to lose a certain amount of weight, for others, it might be something to do with their life dream, for others to reach a certain point in life, like a career, success, top of a mountain, distance in a race.

However, for some people dreaming big, wishing for greatness, and going for the top can also be big and scary. Thoughts creep in making them feel like it’s too big. For those people, there is a chance they won’t even get started. If they do get started, they don’t get far because not only is it big, but they find out it can also be very hard. So, this is for those who have, or possibly are thinking of quitting because of the stress of trying to go for whatever target goal you want.

Here it is, the 3 simple steps that will eliminate being overwhelmed on the trek to achieving your big dreams and goals.

Step 1 %

Don’t worry about your target goal. Treat it as a target for the future, not your target for today. Right now just find something you can improve upon. Take it 1% at a time. Take tiny steps. Write down all the steps you can think of to reach the final objective. Now focus on only one tiny little step. What can you do today that will lead you in the right direction? Do that.

Next Step

Only concern yourself with the very next step to reaching your target goal. It’s ok to write all of the steps you can think of to get to the end. Just don’t focus on all the steps all the time. Focus and do what you need to for today. However, if you’re not doing something about it today, then your goal is to figure out what is the next step. When you know what that step is, then your next step is what you need to do to complete it. Focus only on that, here, now, this moment – the very next step and how to complete it. The 5th,10th, or 254th steps do not matter here and now.

3rd Step Forward

You must move forward. Every day do something, anything, no matter how small. Not next year when something is better, not next month, next week, or tomorrow. Now! Today, step forward to reaching your target goal of whatever it is you want to accomplish. If you’re still procrastinating, then it’s high time to get your lazy pants off the couch and do something. Not moving never gets you anywhere.

There you go. I told you they are easy. The way to stop stressing about your target goal, which can be pretty overwhelming, is simply not to focus on it all. Make smaller, easier, doable goals to move you forward to your dream. 1% improvement a day adds up to 365% improvement every year.
