Never ever let your fears stop you from pursuing your dreams
Ever wish you had a certain skill? Have you tried to learn it and been unsuccessful? Maybe you’ve been on multiple diets but never had any lasting results. We all have ambitions and we’re going to teach you a concept that will help you turn them into reality with ease and improve your life with minimal effort.
Oh, you say you’ve read all the self-help books, and it’s too much, it’s overwhelming. It’s OK. We’re not going to swamp you with information, make you create a complex 5-year agenda, or cram “You can do it!” clichés into your head until you succeed. It will be painless, I promise.

Small changes over time = Big results
Most of us could benefit from a healthier diet, it’s that simple. Like many though, I have had occasions in my life when I was able to manage it and others when it just seemed impossible. That’s because I was trying to change too much at once.
Since Razz has been coaching me on the 1% concept I’m working on changing my eating habits 1% at a time. Like he says “Every little bit helps”. So in January we reduced the sugar we put in our coffees until we didn’t use any. Then I cut out the milk in mine, started buying more fresh vegetables and I’m eating smaller portions.
These are all just tiny changes but they will make a difference in the long run. Also, I will make more tiny changes periodically. It’s about making a life change. Something you can live with forever. Can you see how this concept can be applied to many different things? Think of your life dreams. How could you apply the 1% concept?

Big dreams with little effort
Everyone has great desires for the future. Big ones and small ones. The difference between dreams and goals is simply planning and taking action. As soon as you take a step towards that dream it becomes a goal. Now YOU are in charge! You are the only person who can create the road-map to success, break everything down to small steps to reach the desired end and take action to make it a reality.
What I can do to help is explain a little about how to make that process less stressful and less effort. First, you decide on the outcome you want and write it down. Bam! It’s now a goal! Wasn’t that easy? Now you can start preparing. Just remember this is the 1% concept so take tiny actions. You can do this if you keep it manageable.

Now the next part might take a bit longer, maybe you’ll need to do some research or talk to someone who has done whatever it is you intend to do. The point is you need to break your target down into manageable pieces. There’s no rush, take it slow and think it through. You need to break each step down into its tiniest possible parts. Maybe there are things you need to get in place before you can work on your actual desire. It becomes a new objective that you also break down into tiny steps. For now, you only focus on the steps to the first goal until it is finished and you can move on to your dream/goal.
For example – You want to travel. But you can’t afford to travel right? So before you can work on the travel part of it you need to create a new goal to save/make money for a trip. Saving money you can start working on right away. Remember we’re using the 1% concept so you don’t need to do all the work in one day. Do some tiny part of it today and be strict with yourself. Work on it a little bit every day. Decide on a time when you will sit down at your computer or with a notebook and focus on planning how you will achieve your objective. Consistency is key.

Progress little by little
When you are satisfied that you have a good outline of what you need to do, you’re ready to start moving towards that goal. If saving money is what you need to do first maybe you could give up one take-out coffee a day and put the money in a jar. Or you might want to have a garage sale or sell some things on Marketplace. Whatever it is do it one tiny step at a time. Try not to overwhelm yourself because that is when people quit and say ‘it’s hopeless, I can’t do this.’ You CAN do this and by sticking to it every day you WILL do it. I believe in you!
Do you get the idea? What can you apply this to in your life? There are so many dreams and life-goals that everyone has. I can’t cover them all in this post but I will make posts in the future addressing as many as I can think of. Razz and I have used this system and continue to use it on a daily basis. How do you think I managed to create this blog? That’s right, 1% at a time. It really works for people like me that can’t manage a lot in one day or all at one time.
Leave a comment and tell me what you want to improve or change for the better in your life. I’ll do my best to help you any way I can.
