Hey everyone I can’t believe it! We just hit over 300 subscribers! You guys are awesome! We appreciate every one of you. We’ve really been working on networking and it has been worth it. Keep on reading, liking, commenting and sharing and we’ll keep doing our best to write quality content for you.
Now I know some of you guys out there might be struggling a bit. You are writing lots of good stuff but seems like you’re writing into the blogverse void. Keep your chin up. First, think about why you started writing in the first place. Was it for fame and fortune? For most of you likely not. One common reason that many start a blog and/or website is so they have a place to express themselves. Perhaps you wanted to record a journey in your life or share your knowledge about something with others. Maybe you started writing to be able to vent and/or journal/diary. For some, it is a way to display their art and talent such as poetry, photos, recipes, stories, and so on. Well then keep on going, keep posting. It’s your site, don’t fret over the fact that currently not very many people see it.
Also here is some information that might help you understand that there are people out there seeing your stuff. You just can’t see them. A couple years ago I ran across some statistics about websites. Two stats stood out to me. I don’t remember where I read them, other than online. One stat was about websites owned by corporations, big companies and the fact that they never show up in a search result. That blew my mind. I have noticed every once in a blue moon that the stats page will tell me that a referrer was from Google, Bing, or some other search engine name.
Oh and here is the other interesting stat. Did you know that less than 5% of the people out there who see and read something from your website click like or leave a comment? Do you realize what that means? It means 95% of the people out there are reading your stuff and you don’t even know it. Think about it. If you switch the percentages into numbers it means each time someone left you a like or comment, there have possibly been 20 other people who saw it as well.
The bottom line is to keep on going and keep on growing with your site. Ignore the numbers because they are not always accurate. And if you ever feel like you are writing into the void. Remember this, feelings are important, however, they are not facts. This means there is a 95% chance that you are reaching someone out there in the vast blogverse however they are too shy to let you know via a like or comment. Keep posting because you want to write, you enjoy writing and posting and sharing your vast knowledge. As for the stats just use them for milestones and letting you know what type of content is the most popular.

Again I want to say thank you very much for following us by subscribing. I know there are some of you out there who have reached 1000 followers within about a year, which is fantastic for you guys. We have been running this site for a couple of years now and just reached 300, and for us, that is super awesome. To me, this website is just like life. It’s a journey of growing and getting better, improving 1% at a time. Thank you for helping us along the way.
So until our next post keep on going and keep on growing.
