I would like to say a special thank you to all of you out there who have chosen to follow us. Thank you for helping us here at RazzWorks to reach a new milestone. 100 followers. We are now in our 2nd year of blogging and have published over 100 posts. We look forward to seeing what we can achieve during our 2nd year and hope you keep following along with us.

A word of encouragement to those who are still struggling with writing, and things may not be going as quickly as you had hoped. I am aware that there are many who may have gained 1000 followers in their first year. I think that is great, keep going! Also, there are tons who might only have a few followers, writing almost every day and not seeing any likes or comments. If you are in that category, pause and think about why you started writing in the first place. If you’re writing purely for business, then it just means you have room for improvement and need to hone your skills. Keep learning and keep improving at least 1% at a time.

I myself have a ton of things to improve, work on, and perfect. With every article I put together, I try to make it 1% better somehow. Now if you first started writing because you have a passion for it, even better. Keep writing, keep posting, and slowly over time others who share your interest will find you. Maybe they need help finding you, reach out and seek other bloggers and leave them a comment. Share your post with your favourite social media platform. Just be patient and write for the love of it.

Most importantly, regardless of whether you have over 10k followers, you’re struggling to get your first 10 or somewhere in between. remember it’s a journey; make sure you enjoy yourself along the way. Also to you who are writing to build a business or writing because you have a passion for it. Don’t be in such a rush to race to the end, or you might look back and realize you forgot to pause and enjoy life along the way.

      Thank you. It’s only 100, not a big number but we practice what we preach – celebrate small victories. This is a milestone so we celebrate.

    Congrats! Your posts have been great so far. Of course, I’ve not had the chance to read them all. I’ve been following you for only a short while. I started blogging in 2008 just so I’d have an outlet to get things off my chest. I didn’t care if anyone read my blog back then. When things mellowed and I wasn’t so stressed, I began to engage with other bloggers and share my posts. I now have over 600 followers and that’s more than I ever expected. I sometimes don’t write for weeks and then other times I can write several times a week. I just keep on moving forward. I had a “professional” blogger one time tell me that I shouldn’t have a personal blog and that it would never work. My advice to anyone is to just write whatever the heck you want and don’t worry about what anyone else says because chances are someone will identify with your perspective! Looking forward to reading all of your posts!!

      Thanks Deb! I agree with your philosophy – write whatever you want and don’t worry about what anyone else says. It’s great that you’ve been blogging for so long and are now engaging with other bloggers. I’d be thrilled with 600 followers however, our numbers are going up consistently these days since we took a more proactive stance on networking. So let’s all just forge on and do our thing. The way I see it the followers will grow with time and exposure. I’m not in any rush. Take care Deb and have a nice day.

    What a great perspective you have. For me, the process of putting work out is becoming a routine (still in the works even after years, lol), and I think I’m starting to realise the difference between treating it as a journey, and expecting results from your actions. The more you treat it as a journey, the more good things come. At least that’s how I feel. Keep on keeping on, and I’m glad to have connected with both of you for this long!
