This time of year with holidays and vacations it is easy to lose sight of the things we normally do to keep our mental health in check. We’re extra busy, money is tight and it seems like everyone needs something from us.
Use this simple list to check to see how strong your mental wellness is and to see possible areas to strengthen. Simply make a note to yourself: Yes, Some, No for each item on the list to see how you’re doing.
On a regular basis I…
Yes – Some – No
- eat healthy the best I can.
- am physically active.
- keep a good sleeping pattern.
- participate in actives I enjoy.
- practice positive thinking.
- let friends know how I feel.
- spend quality time with family.
- communicate with my friends.
- seek advise from others when needed.
- work on ways to self improve.
- occasionally focus on breathing.
- find positive ways to resolve problems.
- find better ways to manage stress.
- make time to relax and do nothing.

That was easy. So how did you do? Find any areas to improve? I know I find it hard to eat healthy and get good quality sleep this time of year. Forget about taking a moment to stop and just breathe or relax and put my feet up.
I hope you are taking good care of yourself this holiday season or whenever you are reading this. Keep following RazzWorks for some New Years articles coming next week. Feel free to share & like.
