Highly recommended methods for managing stress
Do a random act of kindness. Stress melts when you do something nice for someone for no particular reason at all. It could be as simple as a smile or pointing out something you like about the person. It can be done anywhere at any time.
While traveling down your path of life, make sure to include doing an activity every day that you enjoy. Anything at all. Maybe a hobby, coloring, going for walks. Any activity that allows you to simply relax and/or makes you feel good.
Take a breather. Sometimes with stress, your mind can run out of control with thoughts and worries about the future. Other times it spins out of control going over events of the past of how you could have done something different. Whatever the reason is why your mind is spinning, stop by focusing on your breathing. Seriously, just place all your focus on how you breathe. Control your breathing with deep inhales and slow exhales. It might take a few minutes however it does help reduce the stress your mind is creating.

Let your feelings be free. There are times when you are overwhelmed more so with feelings than thoughts themselves. Now feelings are not facts, however, they are important. When you’re stressed out due to your emotions. Go and find a place where you can take some time to relax and allow yourself to feel the way you feel. It’s OK. You might need to express them to someone or write them down. Don’t bury or suppress them. Rather, for a moment of time, acknowledge this is how you feel. Let your emotions out, let them flow, don’t hold onto them, just let them go free.
Make sure every day to take a break. If at all possible, go outside. Take some time to be in the moment. Enjoy the air, the scenery, and even the weather. Take a moment to enjoy where you are here and now. It’s one of the best paths to living a better and more enjoyable life. When you are taking time to be in the moment you are also creating positive experiences in life.
As with all paths traveled there are usually road signs. Choose your own signs and place them on your desk, or wall, fridge, where ever you can, but make them yours. These road signs could be motivational posters and/or quotes, an affirmation you like to use, a personal mantra, A vision board, or dream collage, or any things that inspire you.

Slow down, and try to move at a pace where you can comfortably breathe. Slowing your pace down when you work, walk, or even when you’re having lunch, will reduce your heart rate and blood pressure. In turn, doing things at a slower more relaxed pace makes doing them less stressful.
During times when maybe you can’t slow down for whatever reason at least make it a point to take 30-90 seconds to pause and be mindful. A few seconds to at least check and observe how you feel without judgment. Simply being aware of your current situation reduces stress, because you chose to pause, you’re back in control. Whether you choose to keep going fast or to slow down. Things are not as stressful if you’re the one deciding the pace.
Through the course of the day, take quick little stretch breaks. Sometimes you’re working so hard on something that you may even get into the zone. Make sure to take a quick moment to stretch your arms and or legs, and back. It helps to relieve the tension our bodies may be feeling due to staying in one position too long.
