Have you been sitting around watching TV all winter and now having trouble getting moving again? Give up your sofa spud ways and make your body happy with these 5 tips:
One: Write it down
Make a list of things you want to do. Put it on paper or make a list on your phone or computer. With this method as you complete items you can put a check mark next to it, or strike it off. Me, I do the exact opposite. I use a small note book and write down each task I have completed. This way it turns into a list of accomplishments.
Two: Tackle it
If you really hope to stop being a lazy pants then do the task or project you’ve been putting off. Write it on your list and set it as a number 1 priority. Do any tiny thing at all with it. Remember the 1% concept: 1% at a time. Most tasks/projects don’t have to be completed in one go. You can choose to pick at it each day, by doing something with it to move forward to completion.

Three: Be helpful
You need to motivate your lazy pants to get up and get going, perhaps feel useful, or put smile on someone’s face, or just make their day. Be helpful. Simply find some way to help another person out. Sometimes it might be as simple as listening to someone. That shouldn’t be to hard to do.
Four: Change it up
Do something everyday. You don’t have to do the same thing everyday. Matter of fact it is better if you change it up so you don’t get bored. Visit somewhere different, choose a different activity. Help someone different. Keep it new and exciting.

Five: Have fun
Getting your lazy pants off the couch, or out of bed, doesn’t mean doing boring things or stuff you don’t want to do. Do something you enjoy. Maybe use your phone to take some pictures. Visit someone you haven’t seen in a while. The main point is to get your lazy pants up and moving.
